Human Connection in the Tech Age
This course is intended for school building administrators, teacher leaders, and anyone in general who is concerned with the preservation of human connection in this day and age. In this course, within the umbrella of scientific research, participants will learn practical strategies on how to keep human-to-human relationships central to the health of schools within this modern, tech-driven era.
Technology is rapidly-advancing, ubiquitous, and is becoming widely embraced as a vehicle through which many (if not all) facets of life can be improved. However, non-digital, interpersonal relationships still remain vital to human development. This course will take participants on a deep dive into the increasing role of technology in society, along with guiding them through reflections on how they currently utilize technology within their professional contexts and plans for how to leverage technology without sacrificing human sociability.
